If AR loses the 10 points from Janeek's victory that might cost them the championship.

Looks like the 100 hurdle result's official now, and no disqualifications
You don't have to run in your lane in events only on the straight away. You can only get DQ'd if you interfere with another runner.
Wonder who filed the protest, LSU or USC? Anyone can file a protest...
You are correct....... but being halfway into an opponents lane could be considered impedement. Doesn’t matter...... officials don’t have the angle we have on tv.
USC has won it. Unless they false start the 200 or the 4x400 they will be your champs. Werner and Clark won't pick up enough points in the 5000 for the hogs. Maybe even no points.
Did Yanis David get 2nd in the triple jump in regular training shoes? Didn't look like she was wearing spikes. That's insane if I saw it correctly.
Razorbacks still have a shot...Werner could score meaningful points but given Clark just ran the steeple she is going to have a tough go.
Speaking of possible DQs, anyone else see anything in the 800?

Werner got 2nd in the 3k indoors after doubling back from the DMR. She is very capable of scoring big.
From the replay, it is apparent that Brown actually did hit the 9th hurdle in the lane to her left. Technically, it should have been a DQ. It didn't seem to impede Marshall at all- it would have been a tough call.
werner could win the 5k

It looked like the UNLV 3rd-placer interfered with a hard-closing Ejore by drifting out in lane 2 right in front of Ejore, even making some contact at the end. Not sure if it would be enough to warrant a DQ though.
usc would need to be DQd or drop the baton in the 4x400 for Arkansas to have a shot. Werner is not going to win the 5000. She will be lucky to get 4th or 5th. 3rd place tops. that means arkansas will be trailing going into the 4x4. usc is the favorite there.

20% of the field just ran the steeple, Clark could score.
Werner could score top 3 easily, in fact, I kind of have her placed as 2nd-3rd depending on how Jones does.
She's fresh, from a hot climate, and most of the favorites are doubling back or have questions.
I hope Werner can pull off a miracle. Maybe she could be the 4th individual national champion from the show me state this year.

you can hit other hurdles, it's not against the rules. you just can't impede other runners. please read the rulebook.
Agree with you.
But how about up front? (same issue)
it wouldn't be a miracle, she's probably ranked 3rd considering all the conditions. I think she will push for win but Kelati or jones will squeek it out.
Really? I didn't notice anything unusual between the top 2. Akins got close to Fray but was never going to catch her; Akins' form started breaking with ~30 to go and that didn't seem like it was caused by any direct interference or anything.
