Didn't see this one coming.
Sprints are looking great this year.
Thought Lyles pressed too hard. Not used to being behind in a 200. If he stayed silky smooth he'd have won it.

I see Norman will have a great chance to be the first man sub 43 at 400m.
Norman is my favorite athlete in T&F right now. Absolutely incredible.
WVN pr 19.84...Norman smashing that 400 record soon.

Is he clean?
You're making it sound like Lyles went home DEVASTATED.
It is happening. A new era is upon us! It is eerie how Lyles didn't even seem surprised. It's like he already knew that Norman can beat him if he is even a little bit off.
Also, I totally picked Norman to win in the poll. But that is mainly because I am a fanboy, not because I am logical.
IF, and that's a big "if", Lyles ever learns how to start and run the turn, he will beat Norman ten out of ten times. He has more raw speed as was demonstrated by the way he closed on Norman. It's going to be fun to watch these two because apparently they don't have any reservations about competing against each other. Great race.

He's a clean machine.
Only sprinter I've seen that fast who looks like he learned from a text book .

Yep. Lyles has a lot left.
He needs a bit better coaching and a more aggressive racing process. He does all his work at the end, instead of whacking them early and enjoying his race
