What's your point? This isn't an age group competition. Its the NCAA and they all compete within the same rules the NCAA sets. I believe 2nd place was also 25.

I don't think it's a coincidence that many top performers are years older than the average college senior.
Coincidence means the things happen together or they coincide. I think it is a coincidence that older college guys do better at distance races due the mental toughness, The age and the better performance therefore do coincide.

I'm pretty sure my use of that word was correct, but I agree with the second half of your statement anyways
First American to win since Rupp...
Young had HS bests of 4:16.2 (1600m) and 9:13 (3200m)
What are the BYU walk on standards again?

That's a weird way of saying 25. Why put it that way when you could have said, "turns 40 in 2033"?
What happened to the Coastal Carolina guys? I saw one of the twins go out into lane 4, slowly stop and it looked like tie his shoe? The other one was still in the lead then seemed to drop back to run with his brother. Did they not know it was Nationals?
Two options feasible tonight:
1) byu bombs- the board lights up saying how byu are chokers
2) byu destroys- the board lights up saying how they're all old and everything
No win situation for byu. Fortunately, this board isn't real life. Real life brought 1/3/4 in the 10k...4 qualified to final in steeple...1 to final in 1500.
I'm not a byu fan in the least, but what a show in that 10! Nice to see the haters suffer as well.

I could have said that but he's not closer to his 40th birthday than he is to his 25th so it wouldn't have made any sense.

It doesn't matter if he is closer to his 26th birthday than 25th birthday. By your logic, people 20.5 to 21.5 years old are called 21. It doesn't work that way - you are 6 months off.
Is there anywhere you can watch a replay?

Dude...spare us the kudos for a program that had, out of 24 runners I might add, athletes check in at 15th, 21st and 23rd.

Total outrage!! Two 25 year olds and one 24 year old all in the top 5. Those two BYU runners who went 3-4 were robbed!
BYU should have gone 1, 2 today. ???

Wow, you sure? Take out BYU's top 3 guys and you still have the 12th, 18th and 20th spots at nationals in the 10k.
That's 3 in the top 20 nationally no other program could say that. I believe that could merit some kudos. So kudos to you BYU minus the top 3.
Why do you hate yourself and suffer from insecurity? How difficult is it for people to be tolerate you in the workplace or social setting?
you'd think a grampa like Clayton Young would have have a better set of moral values... age cheat
