That muscle definition is hard to believe in a 53 year old .

No it's not. Just for reference, I'm 56 and I've easily got as much muscle tone as he does. Light weights and high reps. Never smoked and I don't eat garbage. But...believe what you will.

I agree with this 100%

Oh yeah he looks like Mr. Clean from the neck up. He is likely using some form of PEDs.

Officially, I think it's coghlan at 42; but Whiteman might have beaten that. If lagat wanted to, he certainly could have/can.
I wish one of these old guys doing amazing things and falling under suspicion would once and for all store blood and urine once a week for a year, or whatever it takes to prove innocence, then do or exceed the previous amazing thing... and let LR get a go fund me to test it all.

If you click on the link and look at the full, full-size picture, there's hardly any definition in his legs, even mid-race. He actually looks pretty average.

Pics?
I'm in, Dufas.
Set up the crowdfunding resource and I'll set up with a local lab and do the blood and urine duties. I am as clean as a whistle and welcome an opportunity to clear the air. Would that USATF and the world governing body made masters track & field drug testing a priority. Bring it on!

Good luck in your upcoming steeplechase in Portland!
Brad, take that kind of comment as an implicit compliment, because what you have done is nothing short of amazing. I'm three years younger and haven't even been able to scratch together a healthy season with consistent track workouts for five years because of calf injuries, so I really salute you for what you have achieved.
Congrats Brad, keep it going.
As for the muscle tone comment many of you don’t understand the genetically gifted. My dad had similar muscle tone into his early 60s. All he did was a lot of hard farmwork and eat plenty of red meat.

I am 50 and have similar muscle tone AND I've smoked and eaten garbage. Genetics counts for a lot too.
I wonder if Armstronglivs will challenge Brad on this one? wrote:
