"Billionaire rapper" makes it sound like he made all his money from rapping. I think it would be more accurate to call him a billionaire businessman who also raps. Let's give him credit for his full set of skills.
Very true. He's a savvy businessman.
He'll die broke.
Sorry but most of the music types don't do well with money.
Is it Kendall Jenner who is also a new billionaire?

No he will not. The money keeps coming in for Jay Z. He is smart with money. The problem with the rappers who go broke is that the money stops coming in yet they still spend like crazy. Eventually runs out unexpectedly, for them.

You have to give credit to Jay-Z, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg and the like. Haven’t made a decent track in decades (if ever..) but have made a killing off of the image.

Haha, that's hilarious! He hasn't made decent music in years yet his net worth has continued to rise. Yet you think he'll somehow die broke.

I hope he doesn't die broke, but I remember hearing about what a great business man Michael Jackson was, and how did that end?
I thought the first would be Snotty Dog or Sixpack Saltshaker

No you don’t. Link me to anything supporting “what a great business man” Michael Jackson was.

...and that's why your net worth $2 and his is $1 billion.
keep practicing buddy, i'm sure you will get it eventually.

No. You would be better off "investing" in lottery tickets than betting Jay Z will die broke.
He should call his next album 'Soul Billions'
I just gave this a listen in recognition of his achievement. Say what you will about his music or his politics, but he is a great American success story.

It ended with him being worth over $200m when he died. You aren't arguing your "case" very well.
Well done you're using a weak currency to denote a billionaire.
May as well declare Zimbabwean rapper Mizchif the first Billionaire if we're using non-sterling currency.
