The race is on Strava and has her going all the way through the finish like everyone else. The 1:12:45ish is probably because that’s what she has on her watch but doesn’t have the official time. Still a mystery what’s up with the official results.

I was gonna say... her Strava shows a 1:12.45, starting at 6:15am. 5:22 for mile 12.. smokin'.
I don’t know why, but Allie Kieffer seems like a perfectly mediocre, normal human.
I’m not saying that in a bad way. People who are above average runners can’t possibly all be amazing human beings, with interesting things to say, or knock-your-socks-off intelligence.
I definitely don’t get people who wanna make her out to be a hero, for carrying five extra pounds in the thighs. I carry five extra pounds in the thighs, and nobody thinks i’m brave.
Her comments on that panel of women runners were OK. Not dumb as a brick. Not Mensa material either.
I honestly have a list in my head, of runners who have kinda flat personalities. Male and females are both on that list.
The boys in the tinman elite videos are like that. Kind of average. Maybe likeable, if that’s your taste in humans.
I’d like to suggest that she’s not very lovable or very hateable.
I agree with the above. Who cares that she's carrying five extra pounds in each thigh and a few more in the trunk? She seems quite down to earth and getting the most out of her talent, all really in the past 2 years. More power to her I say.
I look forward to her racing well and staying injury free.

She ran the race because I was there and saw her at the start with the elites..... They have a staging area where the elites wait before going to the line. Plus folks sometimes it takes days for the results to be updated with the correct places...
Plus the young lady who placed 5th according to the results stated she was 6th so that makes Allie 4th y'all. The results are wrong.

Chick above is a cutie.
Allie’s IG mentions only she was running a half marathon in San Diego. No shout out to RnR, possibly due to them not accepting her into the elite fiend?
Seems like a reasonable snub.
It specifically says request for elite entries should be submitted no later then 10 days prior to the event on their website. So nothing wrong with them denying her elite entry if she was a late add. That’s why she makes money off of running.
“Should”
So you’re saying if Kipchoge asked to run a few days prior he might be given bib number 36,428? Perhaps then a volunteer might block him front getting up front and make him start in coral 6.
It actually says must. I’m sure Kipchoge wouldn’t jump into a race with that little time.
In the start photos from Twitter (see page 2 of this thread) is Ben Bruce #46 on the front row ahead of Scott Smith. He isn’t in the results either. Just there to pace Naz Elite runners?
Alice is really rolling to some fast times ..
I get what you are saying about them denying her entry due to showing up late, but how does she make money off of this? Or does she then just get in unattached and then win the prize money?
Indeed. She seems to be taking well to the Flagstaff elevation and NAZ elite program.

The only reason men watch womens track is to letch/leer. Look at this thread for starters.
That's why there is so MUCH outrage at Caster - because you feel odd when you look at her and then get overwhelming waves of guilt because you want her too. Yet she has balls.

Everyone knows the proper term is Athena
refer to the above f*ck off. this is even less funny.
Allie is the one that made weight an issue. No one commented on her weight until she made it an issue.
She must now accept comments on BOTH sides of the issue.
I think that Allie is a cute girl that carries about 5-10 lbs. more than most elite women distance runners. To me this makes her MORE attractive.
But because she was self conscious being different. SHE MADE IT AN ISSUE and she has thrived in a positive fashion from all of the attention.
Sorry but if you can’t accept the negatives stop accepting the positives.
She's not going to win any prize money if she's not in the official results. She ran with a bib but still doesn't show in the results. Weird.

Tennis pro Lindsay Davenport ignored advice to lose weight until she tried practicing while wearing extra pounds. Moving was harder with only a little extra weight and that convinced her to lose weight.
Never heard that about lindsay davenport, but it makes sense.
Above a certain minimum, body fat is just like carrying dead weight.
I would not personally make any Clydesdale comments publicly, because i am not perfect at controlling my weight either. But i don’t believe for a second that the ideal race body fat percentage for anyone, male or female, is more than a couple pounds over the minimum.

So Serena Williams should lose weight too?
Anyways, wondering if Allie removed timing chip on her bib? Prize money is also weak
