There’s also a Calgary ultra that Proctor is hosting next week (but not running, apparently) which Laz (Gary Cantrell) reportedly will attend. Not sure it’s anything I would know much about, ha ha.

Thinking back to who would vouch for my 2:59 marathon, I could cite the great Marshall Ulrich, who invited me to his Run Across Colorado in ‘92 & ‘93. 325 miles at 6000’ elevation would tend to improve your conditioning.
Proof that you did the race?
This 2:59 is pure BS . Marshall Ulrich failed at every track distance , he found an event that noone cares about . The Ulrich
Colorado run was a hoax with no GPS proof .
You never ran under 3 hours . No proof , no links to results.
It’s also telling, that the Gabe/Hasay/Salazar DQ incident has been revisited, even though it’s long resolved. Al should be given the same respect.
It’s funny how they alternate between impersonation, stupid arguments, and claiming no one reads this. Just produce the docs that show it was ever a real record attempt.
Same claims as a year ago, when stupid people said I could email the crew. Guinness requires several affidavits.
The population of trolls & impersonators has certainly increased. Just getting to enjoy Tron & co. Oh, well.
Why would anyone post under their regular names after you, an unhinged person, came out with your hit list?
Make me famous, it’s not a problem
Congrats to the LetsRun sleuths on Meza & those who paid tribute to Gabe. Cheaters & graverobbers like Proctor are embarrassing themselves.
Some more marathon hints:
1) Snake River ‘86
2)Coueur d’Alene ‘86
3)Island ‘86
4)Grandfather Mtn ‘87
5)Blue Angel ‘87
6)Orange Bowl ‘88

Even more stuff on Meza the cheater. Even the posters trolling me have given up.
Here’s my Roderick, the OP of the Meza thread who certainly had some novel theories to try & gum up the investigation:
“First you’d need 3 Shetland ponies from the buskers near the Chinese Theater; then to cut the course at 17.3 kms you could steal a Stanley Steamer from the car show down the street that’s always held after the race...”
An hour later, you’re ready to quit trying to look for evidence. Make sure to hire Tron for the GPS coordinates...
Speaking of GPS, I’ve crunched some numbers about ways to cheat.
Before, there was one way to run honestly and a million ways to cheat. Now, there is still one way to run honestly, carrying GPS or not, for a new total of 2 ways. There are still a million ways to cheat, carrying GPS or not, for a new total of 2 million.
Approximately 999,999 new ways to cheat, if I’ve got the math right.
One thing I have to share with my youthful aspiring record-holder Proctor. Think anything of me, no problem. But stupid people would never survive organizing 5 transcons, I have had to be self-reliant to survive that. Runners won’t pat you on the back for being the authority figure in their lives for 2 months. To even hope for that is impossible.
I come by my experience honestly, and I expect nothing less from your accountability across Canada, than what I provided for Howie. For you to hope for less, is likewise impossible.
Can somebody please shut down this threat.
One issue, in the minds of many, is why someone would cheat; on the Meza thread we have discussed it quite a bit.
It’s not my favorite issue, but certainly Meza seems like an older person trying to hang on to his job & status at any cost. As a caregiver, I’ve seen personally how painful this process can be.
Conversely perhaps Proctor is just young & ambitious, in this case to a fault. But since so much of what I’ve been able to learn about Proctor comes in spite of his deceptive self-promotion, I’ll leave the in-depth analysis to others. We certainly haven’t reached a consensus in the Meza affair.
We certainly have reached a consensus with Jesse Riley. I’ll leave the in-depth analysis to others.
