Round 2 on for next year! Proctor reportedly has 2 multidays on the schedule for practice. Discuss.

There are actually many instances of young, ambitious athletes cheating or committing major infractions early in their careers. Some have even become icons in their sport.
As disgraceful as the first attempt was, I would prefer a happy ending. At the very least, an honest finish (with or without the record) & a written record of the run, by someone who’s not afraid to use their own name. They would have to submit this to Guinness, why not the rest of us ?
the original record was loaded with un documented segments , and hear say record keeping .
Your telling me? You know I personally wrote all that, don’t you?
Speaking of Guinness, it was very dishonest to claim an attempt on “Al Howie’s record” (requiring a similar course) to get credibility within the running community, while only trying to appease the Guinness requirement (any legal route between Vancouver & St. John’s) for a Trans Canada record. Next time, be honest!
Reportedly Proctor is entered at Six Days in the Dome & Big’s Backyard Ultra. This is his chance to establish solid credentials in multiday.
When I wrote “Mobility As Instinct,” it was, I hoped, a roadmap to ultras & the slow buildup of strength & pace over the first 2-3 weeks, especially. Kouros was certainly too talented to need to be conservative, but most runners are not.

Is he the guy you slandered continuously last summer with absolutely no proof he engaged in any wrongdoing?
No, he was the guy I told the truth about, and he found out the hard way I was right. But I hear he’s going to train in actual multiday races this time.
It is pathetic to attack others with out evidence, and to be insecure about when people try to best records. I remember you made little sense and mostly seemed to be talking back to your own posts. I did follow your posts as pathetic can be entertaining.
So you’re pathetic because you attack me?
But Al Howie’s record was undocumented , no gps and a vague assortment of witnesses.
Actually Proctor never submitted any record. Remember, the crew have to sign the affidavits (handles like “Tron” unacceptable).

Well, he said it’s pathetic when you attack without evidence.
There is ample evidence that you slandered Proctor repeatedly, yet you didn’t supply anything even remotely coherent to justify it. Frankly, you came off as a bit looney, I’m sorry to say.
We like nothing better than to savage cheaters, but most of us are fair minded, and only do so once sufficient evidence is presented.
For example, Frank Mesa is a cheater. I’ve seen no evidence this Proctor guy was.
There’s ample evidence that you’re slandering me - anonymously, of course. You’re in no position to question my expertise, and if you’re too ignorant to do any research, it’s not my fault.
Why are all old ultra guys so weird?
Speaking of expertise, I would highly recommend that the Proctor Group invest in 3 back issues of UltraRunning where I covered the Howie record. I put in them everything I thought was relevant, and you really looked stupid for not spending those few dollars.
P.S. “Al Howie’s Diary” is the one I wrote during the run. It’s funny that you think Al had time to write anything; your inexperience really shows.
You have no proof of any past records. You scribble stuff on paper, big deal.
Proctor never even did that! No records submitted, even to Guinness.
Tron never submitted the final figures, but he was busy telling everybody that the Terry Fox Memorial wasn’t halfway. Something about “longitude.”
Don’t forget to research Terry this time! That was another rookie mistake.
your foggy memory gaps have you grasping for straws.
