Is the weather really that bad for distance running? Is it windy on the track? I think the 10Kers will be fine

I mean, it's most definitely not Rupp-certified conditions.
Did someone intimidate her ?

If an NOP athlete was in the race Salazar would have some alternative 10K in Belgium set up by now
looks like they aren't going to show the 10k on nbcsn

Fantu Worku, 39.08 off her PB. You are kidding me!
Hello, birth of a star, 39.08 off.
Did Sanchez fade that hard in the last 20 meters or is he an idiot?
OMG, Ryan Sanchez of Puerto Rico just bombed over the final 100m of the 800.
Sanchez is only 20 years old, and a big talent. I thought he was going to blow everyone away coming off the final turn. But he slowed down a ton and that let Amel Tuka come from way back to get the win in lane 3.
Was Sanchez rigging up or did he just let off the gas? Initially I thought he just rigged up big-time like Duane Solomon used to do late in his career, but watching the replay, I think he just thought he had the race won and thought he could jog through the line. Just run through the line. It staggers me how many athletes at this level still don't do that.

How about you show a bit of heart? How about thinking that he is inexperienced? Or are you an idiot?
Don't bother answering that. We've known the answer for years.

Inexperience is not an excuse. Even high schoolers should know to run all the way through the line.
Now the new 800m
Welcome to the big leagues Sanchez
I’m confused, who does Lynsey Sharp blame now ?

Wind.
Looks like I never posted this on men's 800:
Wow.
Sanchez had the 800 wrapped up I thought. And then he didn't.
****
Ajee gets the win. Wish she could have gone sub 2:00.
Crazy men's 800.
I had Tuka in 27.1for final 200. I had Sanchez in like 28.9.

Crazy celebration by Ajee for her first DL win in years.. I never knew she liked to imitate Usain Bolt.
