Really weird this. Just watching the Vitality London 10k which the bbc is covering and, I thought, was doing a good job covering with a message of anyone can do, take part, get off the sofa and get fit, etc. All good. But then they brought on these fat "celebrate you" women whose ethos seemed to be just be happy no matter how fat you are and don't be put off by the pressure of air brushed images (which to be fair is arguably a good argument in society).
However surely pushing fat acceptance is 100% at odds with getting fit? I mean it's pretty much the polar opposite. Without even getting into fitness, accepting fatness equates to unhealthy eating and celebrating lack of even basic self control! Is this where we're at now?

(The bbc even covered these women at the start - they ran for literally 20 seconds tops before walking!)
