I’m 45 now.
Last year I decided to try and run these times:
Sub-20 5 k
Sub- 40 10 k
Sub-1:30 half marathon
Sub-3:30 marathon
I know these times are not completely equivalent, but they were chosen for the sake of nice round numbers.
PR’s before last year were 20:05 5k - 40:47 10k - 1:35 HM - 3:36 M
Last year and this year I could improve myself with:
18:20 5k (though the course may have been 100m short)
39:58 10k (certified course, just a few weeks ago)
3:19 marathon
In 4 weeks time I will be running a flat half marathon.
I’m in decent shape, but I start to think that my HM goal is definitively the most difficult.
Thoughts ?
