For me it wasn't so much about his doping (a lot of people doped and everyone lied about it), but about how he tried (and succeeded in some ways) to ruin people's lives who were telling the truth about his actions.
What he did to Frankie and Greg, among others...just despicable. And to never apologize for his actions. Such a tool.
This is the real answer. The TDF has been a doping sport since it inception.
The real issue with LA is how he treated his own team mates and their families. A true ponce
I guarantee he was doped for his Boston and NYC marathons. Of course he was since he knew all too well about the benefit of EPO (and/or blood doping). He's a 3:15 guy otherwise.
I've never heard Payton Manning...blame their drug use on others.
Peyton got HGH shipped to his house, after having multiple neck surgeries, and claimed it was for his wife. Ok.
We all contribute to this sociopath remaining relevant by the attention we give him. I'm guilty too so not saying. If everyone would just ignore him EVENTUALLY he'd go away.
Marion Jones did jail time. Lance does NBC specials and lives in Aspen and Austin. We have his lies on tape.

the guys was one of the greatest athletes of his generation and an all time great. sports like the NFL hide drug use and no one cares, watch some of chris longs interviews this week and have a laugh... peyton manning was caught red handed with hgh and not a single person cares
People don't like him because of his attitude.. that's it. Same with Barry Bonds. Mind you, those seven years were so F'ing exciting to watch, as were Bonds's years of slamming those baseballs across the county. Had he been charismatic like Miguel Indurain, it would be a much different scenario. Arrogant or now, I still like Armstrong.

I'm glad that USA showed itself to be the best at doping (and covering it up) during this historic 7-year Postal Service period. Imagine if someone else like Jan Ullrich had out-doped him?
Jan was on it as well.
Lance Armstrong is still a proud, triumphant WINNER—that’s all he’s ever been his entire life. If you think that Lance wasn’t a monster before drugs, then go watch some videos of him whooping pro triathletes when he was 17.
I’m not saying he’s a good person, or that I would willingly grab a beer with the guy, but that man embodies the mental fortitude, arrogance and downright nastiness that it takes to win and crush competitors for a sustained period of time. In Lance’s case, he can’t turn this hyper-competitive switch off—it perplexes me that after years and years of evidence of this, people still won’t accept who Lance is as a person. And frankly, it’s embarrassing when individuals like you expect people like Lance to act in a manner that is contrary to their personality.
Sheeple like you are the reason that drug-free sport is currently impossible. Your take lacks any sort of nuance, you have made no attempt to understand Lance’s psychology and what drives his decision-making, and instead you continue to feed the boring, toxic narrative that “Lance is a bad guy and we should be disgusted! I enjoy watching freakish sports performances and I also enjoy when my countrymen win, and then I like to get outraged when I learn what it took to do this!”
Go kick rocks, dude.

You couldn’t make it up.
LOL the guy is a savage. He could have played the whole scenario better. The counter suits is what f'd him..
You have to be thick to think that the vast majority of all international sports people were not doping during his period.
It was an even playing field but not the one that the thickos thought.
Funny you say that, Lance's friend, because rumor has it there was one reason in particular he was "...whooping pro triathletes when he was 17." Any guesses as to what that reason was?
It’s not that his proud. It is that life is a journey and the person that is now is sum of the good, the bad, and the ugly of his journey. He can’t go back and change what he did. However, what he did change him and affected how he lives the rest of his life. That is IMHO what I get from listening to his podcasts. I don’t like how he won, but I’m not going out of way to hate on him. I just try to be a better version of my yesterday me, just like Lance is trying to do.

Jan certainly managed to out-eat him
Please, do some reading and then come back here. It’s an unequivocal fact that Lance Armstrong was not doping when he was with U.S. Postal—hundreds have substantiated this with no opposition.
*Until he was with U.S. Postal, not when
Freudian slip, perhaps? Lol

Obama bombed 7 countries.

A fellow journalist this week texted me to let me know that in Lance's most recent podcast, he admits to being a reader of my work. As a result, he's now untouchable on here.

Rojo wants you to think this post is a joke, but it really isn’t. Any time something he does gets the slightest bit of positive attention, rojo does his best to make the story about him and how great of a job he did. It’s happened many times over the years, it’s cringeworthy, it’s unprofessional, and it’s time for him to grow up.
Honestly, I was in your same camp, wrote Armstrong off as a doped a-hole. Joe Rogan had him on the podcast a while back and it was the first time I ever heard the true Armstrong version of how things went down. The guy clearly had and still has his issues, but I'd give that whole episode a listen; come to your own conclusions, I think you may change your mind some with respect to who he is now decades after the circumstances.
