I don't see a problem with it. Often at the end of easy runs I'll throw in some surges similar to that.

Seems fine to me, looks like a form of strides to warm you up then some longer intervals at maybe 3k/5k pace? It's a bit of a short workout but it's late in the season and you don't want to do anything incredibly hard.

Your couch uses the belly instead of the brain. I would do better job. I can literally shave chunks from your PBs. You too can be just as good as my Kenyon athletes. Since you are not elite my secret sauce will literally melt the seconds away from your PBs. (PS, don't share my recipe with anyone. I don't want Coevette to find out).
