I have been out of the game for 25 days due to injury. I biked ~2hours a day to maintain cardiovascular fitness. I resumed my training 3 days ago and have been doing doubles to get back into shape - 2 5 mile runs a day for the last 3 days. I don't want to push the distance yet and feel that running this way will allow me to build my mileage back up without injury risk. Physically, I feel really good and don't feel like I am overreaching or aggravating anything. Does anyone have experience resuming training via doubles or can make recommendations for/against what I am doing?
