You are finding it hard to maintain a serious facial expression as you type as you and I know. There is NO WAY you believe Aouita was PED dirty and at the same time believe Coe was PED clean.
Yawn....
Evidence for Coe doping :
The 'blood infection'. It's been pointed out that the near universal autologous blood doping of the 80's would be very unlikely to result in a blood infection. In fact, that's the main reason it's used.
Evidence for Aouita doping :
1 - weird progression from sub-elite at 22 to world class at 23 and GOAT discussion at 24 with unparalleled range.
2 - Improvement co-incided with full-time move to Italy in winter 82, the dirtiest country in Europe at the time.
3 - Started training in the USA every winter from winter 83, the very year the commercial new version of HGH became available, and coinciding with another massive improvement in the summer of 84.
4 - One of his doctors was a Belgian known as 'Dr Syringe' and arrested in the 90's for supplying dozens of runners, cyclists, and other athletes with PEDs including EPO. Nearly every one of his 'customers' was later busted or admitted to PED use.
5 - Openly spoke about his financial motivation for running.
6 - Suspiciously secretive about his 'special' training methods which he claimed to have invented himself (Aouita was largely self-coached - he had more doctors and managers than coaches). Subsequently sacked from 2 or 3 national athletics federations as head coach for poor results (and a ped scandal in the case of Australia).
7 - Chased out of Australia as head coach of their distance runners for allegedly pressurizing athletes to take PEDs, particularly HGH, which he claimed 'was the only way to win'.
8 - The first great runner from a country that subsequently ruled the EPO era in middle-distance and as soon as testing was introduced, suffered multiple busts.
There's probably more I've forgotten to list, but there's so many it's hard to remember them all.
