Does his 6.05 at the European Championships last year not count?

Not for NCAA
G.O.A.T.
Isn't it funny how this performance which actually is WORLD LEVEL caliber doesn't even have a dozen replies?
But we're on page 1234567890 of opinions about the new Hokas X yay!
The priorities of some (most) members of this website are baffling.
Here’s a question. Mondo broke the collegiate record but it wasn’t his PR, when has anyone else broke a Collegiate Record and it not be their PR? Certainly not an american either

Letsrun is primarily distance runners. Pole vault accomplishments have never gotten much discussion here, unless they involved someone that people here found particularly attractive.
...and 5cm below the US HS record.
When will that record be broken?
FYI that 6.05m from Europeans hits a number of grey areas. It won't be recognized as a HS record as that 2018 season was "over". It will be recognized as an American record as Mondo is a born US citizen (although it was jumped in a Sweden jersey).

T&FN recognizes records through August 31 of their senior year, or until they start college classes, whichever is sooner. So 6.05m is the T&FN HS record, but not the NFHS HS record.
