The amazing thing is that we're even hearing about Boling as a runner as Americans with his talent should be playing football, basketball, baseball, soccer, or even golf instead of track. He's giving up tens of millions of dollars and years of nurturing to run track for college and a few semi-pro track clubs.

Sprinters are born and they work hard.

He'll probably turn pro after a year or two at Georgia.

Georgia had:
no participants in the 100m at SEC
2 entries in the 200m (21.36SB 25th, 21.95 35th)
No participants in the 400m
1 entry in the LJ (7.57 9th)
DNS in the 4x100
Not entered in the 4x400
His HS team would beat Georgia
Wouldn’t have Florida, LSU, Tennessee, Houston, South Carolina... been better choices for him?

I'm pretty sure Georgia's top sprinter was that guy who got impaled by a Javelin....

UGA men won a national title outdoors in 2018

this is a rebuilding year

You realize playing those sports at the highest level takes a ridiculous amount of technical ability beyond just being freaky athletic, right?

Um, his best event is the Deca, which is why he is going to Georgia to be coached and developed by the best Multis coach in the NCAA. Boling is the next Ashton.

Boling's not running track because he can't do anything else. Even if he had problems with skills early on, in this country these team sports nurture players starting very early and that's a lot of time to be taught these skills.
