I'm curious to know if anyone has used Glycerol as a supplement. It was suggested to me by a friend (non runner) who is an exercise physiology major. As far as I know its not a banned substance, but don't know anyone who has taken it. I've never taken any supplements besides a multivitamin and am a bit nervous about introducing a new factor into training. Then again running 4:15 mile isn't going to do squat for me either, so maybe its worth a shot. Any ideas? This is a link with some facts about it.
