No one ever talks about how Caster has pulled a lot of women to PRs.
Did Sharp cry after the race again?

1:53 at 800Meters
So he went 19.99 here?
correct
Manangoi 3:32 ftw
Lame doped 1500.
Manangoi and Cheruiyot >> everyone else.
Great run by Hillary Bor. I was REALLY into it.
That's only 4th time Semenya has gone under 1:55. Impressive to do it in her first 800 of year.

So they are pretty much running male-equivalent 1:48s. Pretty disappointing. You have high schoolers running those times.
Um... no. 1:58 is about the equivalent of 1:45 for a man. And it’s may in a year when worlds are in October. I’d say that is a fine opener.

His younger brother sets a p.r. (And another 'foreigner' speaking killer English)

King of closing. Cheruiyot must be feeling a bit below top form because no way he will run down Manangoi off that type of pace. Some interesting runs behind them. Kwemoi didn't run remotely smart, which actually is encouraging he still ran 3:33.99. He could be a factor in a few months. Younger Manangoi gets a big PB and respectable performance. Iguider and Souliman look like crap. Wonder if Iguider moves up to 5K.
19.99(+1.3) is a fast early-season time. IMO 200m fitness is gained throughout a season, so he should eventually put on a good show later. I would like to see him beat Coleman.
I like Brown, but he didn’t deliver here—but it’s early. Richards, too. Would have been fun to have seen Gardiner in this race, or WVN doing a tune-up.
that high jump gurl kinda cute

FWIW, Brown was ahead at 100m. Very good bend. Didn't close well, but he was a stride ahead at 100m.

It doesn't matter where Brown is. He will be even farther back as the season progresses. Wouldn't be surprised to see Guliyev go down to 19.5 this year.

Those of you who think all Kenyans doper are stupid. So what explains the success of the Kenyans that train in the US like Korir or the Kenyan Americans? What about the Eritrean Americans? Was meb a doper?
Agreed. Keep in mind the top Kenyan Americans all live in Colorado Springs, the home of USADA.
There ain't no hiding from the doorbell in Colorado!
Asher-Smith by 6 furlongs! 22:26

They ran 1:59 - rounding up and slightly rounded down. That is 7 seconds above the WR. The WR is 1:52, yes? So add the 7 seconds to 1:41 and you get 148. How the hell do you get 1:45? That is 4 seconds above the WR.
