For my current job, in order to get to work on time, I have to start getting ready at 430 am. The job is ok, but I was a slack off in college and majored in a worthless field, so I'm lucky to have a decent job at all and doubt I could get another one any time soon. To double, I'd have to get up at 330 am, maybe I could sleep until 345. I struggle to get enough sleep just waking up at 430 am as it is. Running 2x a day after work wouldn't be a problem for most of the year since I get off pretty early in the afternoon, but I live in the south and we're entering the 6 months of the year when its hot and humid as hell. Early afternoon where I live heat index is typically 90s or 100s when I get off work and it doesn't cool down until the soon starts going down.
So what's better, get up super early, suffer in the heat and have crap runs, try to run twice in the evening, mmaybe only a 20-30 min break between runs?
I guess i could join a gym and treadmill for one run, but doing that 5 days a week seems awful. I can barely stand it for a couple days when its icy in the winter. And I have to fight myself not to run too hard on a treadmill so I finish quicker.
