60, 64, then 2:23 second half. If I ran more even splits what do you think I could run?

4:22

Conservatively, you could at least go from 4:27 to 4:20 with a 64-65 second first lap. I doubt you could go 4:15 today, but maybe in a few weeks.
I doubt that you will go much faster. I am guessing that you are an undertrained high schooler which means that you will probably run 68s on the middle laps no matter how slow you go out.
Just keep going out at 4:08 pace, each race you'll go a extra meter or two, over time you'll eventually hit a 4:08 time. I heard this is how Stinson is planning on becoming the next American to go sub 2:10.

I don't know if you are joking, but if not, it's unlikely you ever ran track. I would estimate the OP could run 4:19 with better pacing.
OP, was it an insane solo run or were you trying to keep up with a 4:00 miler?
I’m calling BS on those splits.
Notice how the kid is asking how fast he can run which means this is his PR. So he has run slower while running more even splits. High school kids are crazy. Some kids get stuck at 4:30 by running 66-68-70-66. The coach finally tells them to go all out and see what happens. 61-63-75-68. Yes they should be able to run faster with better splits, but many high schoolers don't.

There's really no reason you should ever run the first lap in 60s. Practice hitting your mile pace when doing 200m and 400m reps: no faster than 65.0s/400m and no slower than 66.5s/400m. Become so familiar with that 1.5second range of pace that you won't run the first lap too fast or let your pace slow in laps 2 and 3.
Just race my guy. Those splits are almost not believable but what high schooler (I'm assuming?) knows how to pace properly? Just keep listening to your coach and getting workouts in, running easy on your easy days, increasing your long run, running faster/stronger tempos, etc. You can probably go low 4:20s or break that by opening in 2:10-12 right now. Do that in your next race. See what you run. Then go from there. You obviously have the potential to keep improving & get a lot faster.
65s the first 3 laps then let it rip on that last lap---> you could possibly go sub 4:20!

4:08. Even up that second half and you'll be just fine.
When I was a junior in high school, I ran almost the exact same splits for a 4:27 (61-63-73-72) and ended up racing a 4:22 a few weeks later when going out a bit slower (64-65-68-65).
Basically, the uneven pacing isn't worth a monstrous 10 seconds. Probably more like 5 +/- 2
Doubt this is true , but I would say 4:21 if you have any brains .

Cole Sprout for one. At Arcadia, he ran 4:22/4:18. I've been to many section and state meets and have rarely seen positive splits by the top runners.

Sub 4:20 -- provided you get used to the pacing.

Go run it then tell us.
I believe the OP. I witnessed a 2:06/2:26 split last week in a low-key dual meet.

OP here:
I was in a relay and was trying to catch the guy ahead of us. Also my prs are 4:19 (last year) and 1:58.1 (after that relay).
What are you asking then? You can run 4:19.
