You guys are sad.

Yes. Literally all of those things happen to men as well. Also, are we going to ignore the actual times here? That guy very well may have been kicking for a BQ. Just saying. You guys judge and see what you want to see, but in case you idiots forgot, the point of a race is to run a distance as fast as possible. For all you know, that dude just PRd and BQd, but y'all worried about him beating another competitor? Lol. Give me a break.
The logic that another competitor should not pass someone at the end of a race simply because that competitor is a different sex is truly ignorant.
So you male runners actually get one or two other male runners who follow you for the entire race, completely ignoring all the other men in the race to race against, who draft off you and then sprint past (or not but try to) in the finishing trait? Men that single you, and you alone, to pace off? You must be a lot more tolerant than me!
All those male runners out there, happy to have another man following them, ignoring all the other men in the race to race against, them coming up to them in the finishing chute and actually telling them that they had targeted them the entire race to beat.
That’s amazing. Because I’ve never seen it.
I do wonder how those men ever achieve pbs, because the number of times I’ve looked up the results and checked the name of the parasite freak sorry male athlete that’s been following me, and they’ve got nowhere near their pb or most recent performance. But they have managed to beat the fourth placed female runner or whatever in a sprint finish, so it’s all good!
Personally, I’m a distance race longer than 5k, I would not be happy if I had that much sprint finish left at the end, unless I’d been running well inside myself tactically for a top 3 finish. Parasite freaks generally don’t run anywhere near their full potential is what I’m saying.
Yes. That is precisely what happens at the front of the race. Move up there and you will experience it to a greater extent.
There were no unregistered runners pacing her for the period I was with the group.
I don't really care what happened after the turnoff or while she was behind me as I don't suspect she cheated by having an unregistered pacer.
You all are getting a little excited over nothing here.

Thanks, but I only take advice from Olympic finalists. And I can tell you aren’t one, because they all talk sense.
Probably because you're too busy whining, head-swivelling and neurotically eye-balling every guy around you in order to find something to blame your crappy performances on.
I don't find your Starbucks analogy to be comparable to this situtation.
If you really dislike her as a person for this short clip of her it says more about you than it does about her.
You need to get out more, this definitely happens to men. I'm an older guy and I run at a very steady pace and I'll frequently have people pacing off me. I usually run a negative split so sometimes they fall off, but if not there's almost nobody that I can outkick.
This chick is pathetic.. and the embodiment of everything that's wrong in running
She is mediocre at best, yet she acts like she is in the olympic marathon?
Acting like a complete jerk, swearing at the finish line, and then accepting aid from bikers during the marathon? Absolutely classless
Jeez - I wish people could get a reality check.
Did no one notice that she re-created the picture (including either photoshopping her finish time or actually asking the clock to be set to that time)?

I had a guy thank me once after he had paced off of me on a treadmill. We were running on adjacent treadmills. He said he had been pacing off of my cadence.

I was once followed home by a woman from work. I knocked her out. True story.

Ummm, no. Pediatricians make jack $hit for the hours worked, and the years spent just becoming a pediatrician.

Oof, I can tell you from significant personal experience that that statement is significantly false.

This is exactly what she did to me in this race.
Ran on my heels until around mile 9 and decided to finally pass me and tripped me up. The guys on bikes that were carrying water for her were so damn annoying and kept cutting onto the course and getting in the way of people running as well.
She should have been disqualified for receiving direct external aid.
This is correct. Immediate DQ if true.

Oh, gosh. That seems so bizarre.
I'm confused about one line of comments in this thread, regarding someone who may have received assistance from cyclists during the race. Is the woman who is alleged to have received external aid during the race the same person who shouted "A$$hole!" at the guy ahead of her and apparently then posted a staged and possibly photoshopped picture of herself crossing the finish line and breaking the tape with "2:52:52" on the big digital clock?
Not about the kick and her being bitchy to the guy, but about the water bottles and bicycles aiding her.
That should be a DQ.
Bump.
She won't be poor.
Six figs for her, and a big house and probably a rich husband too.
I think her having good looks will get her a job in addition to her smarts (you have to be smart to be a ped doc).
