I was wondering if this is a good workout for an 800m runner? My current PR as a HS sophomore is 2:15.8, and the goal of this workout is trying to get it down to 2:10-2:13 range.
My splits:
600: 1:41.5
500: 1:22.5
400: 1:06.9
300: 49.5
200: 30.4
I took a 400m walked rest in between each one (a little less than 4min). 400 and 300 hurt a bit, and I slowed up a by maybe a second or so.
Anyways, what do you guys think, based off of this workout, is my 800m potetntial? Appreciate any feedback.
