What kind of clownworld relay has one athlete run the last 50%? Nice job Kipruto.
Yep, that mix was ridiculous.
Lol that Bittner octagenerian looked decent. Trains in his driveway! Excellent
Weather at Drake looks crap. Hopefully no sprint injuries
Weather is the track equivalent of Boston 2018
It’s nasty out here. Yesterday was ideal. Went to crap over night.
The usatf.tv coverage is excellent. Dan obrien Carrie T and the play by play guy are all good- they are filling hours of well known and more obscure events. They have at least some notes on even the random olympic development heats. Positive amd excited. Great job
Except when they talk about turns 3 and 4 of the track! Tracks have 2 turns. Only NASCAR has 4.
Where can we find splits for all races?

We have a results link on the front page. WE almost always have results links to big meets on the front page but here it is for you.
http://pennrelaysonline.com/Results/schedule.aspxThe 4 x mile was entertaining. Indiana got a big lead on the 1st 2 legs but Hoare got Wisconsin back in it on leg #2. Indiana still held by like 3 seconds heading into the anchor but McDonald caught up on the 1st lap thanks to a 58.91 (unofficial 1st lap). The next two laps were slow - 2:16.65 - and the last one fast. McDonald barely got the win just before the line. 55.92 is what I had for the final lap.

Is the wind really just that bad? Those splits are rough.
At 1pm the wind was 32mph with gusts of 48; not quite as hard but winds always in the 20s and gust at least in the mid-30s. The winds were so strong that people generally did not want to be leading except the down-wind sections. [Note that the wind speed is measured 10 meters above ground so at ground level it is less than that, but people's assessment of wind is based on those official numbers. Hence, when you are running in to the wind (at 12 mph up the backstretch) , the effect is even more than it would be if the official wind were 12 mph faster.]
