Exactly!
I never liked him much, even less now.
Mo Farah says someone stole from while he was at Haile's G hotel - Haile says Farah was reported for "attacking married athlete"

Mo seems to have travel issues. A year or 2 back complained an airport security guy was racist, ms mo gets into big argument with airline personnel and now this.

So much this.
What a through-and-through POS. I hope Kipchoge does Geb a solid by finishing 3+ minutes ahead of Mo, then stands at the finish making a hand visor and squinting into the distance for a defeated and laboring Mo Farah. Kipchoge should then hand Mo his own watch as he finishes.
God, I might drop $75 for NBC Gold to ensure I won’t miss a second of Mo’s discomfort. -
I'm assuming the original press release was written in Arabic or Amharic and has been translated into English.

Did the person steel his EPO? I bett he just lost it. Happens all the time when travelling.
+1
And why the hell is Mo still going to Ethiopia after past controversies, and for THREE MONTHS in just one hotel (conveniently run by one of the all-time EPO goats)? Then the guy bitches (and sues) when people suspect him of being a doper.

Seriously. Haile is not responsible for his stolen watch just because he owns the hotel. Maybe if it were in the hotel safe, yes. Mo should pay his bill. It was generous of them to discount it by 50%.

Me too. Makes the London marathon more interesting. -
I'm not buying that text was written by Mo. Maybe all of this happened and maybe it didn't but that text has a few little bits which do not sound like Mo Farah even if you think Mo maybe isn't super literate.

Good for Haile!
Mo Farah is a terrible guest. It is best to not let him stay in Africa anymore. -

We need some more info on the attack of a "married employee". What does that even mean? I really hope more details on this come out soon.
Also, surely something like this has to affect Mo 4-5 days before a big race.
Oh don't worry, it will effect Sir Mo - he will now be running for ~ 2 hours on pure hate for Gebrselassie and his thieving minions! Kipchoge must be real worried about now. -

Hopefully Geb takes Farah to court for failing to pay his hotel bill.
That's truly pathetic on Farah's part. Honestly I wouldn't surprised if the theft was totally fabricated so that he can get out of paying his hotel bill. Ya know, like the stuck up annoying people who go to restaurants and complain about every little thing and then demand free food.
I've been thinking the same thing. -
Really curious about him attacking a married woman. That makes it sound like an attempted sexual assault. And it is also worrisome that they helped him make whatever those charges were go away. Would love to see journalists ask him about that in London and for journalists to investigate the entire claim.

It's not like Farah has used the press in the past to protect himself from any negativity is it?
Who is Jama Aden again? Bohbyeah just a 'facilitator' hired by uka
He barely saw Alberto...
Galen Who?
The problem here is that he is so dopey his pr agency are desperate to get him out of another hole he has dug.
Guarantee another story will break... Just like the time he brought up the 'racism' story with the airport security to divert attention from the Salazar story. -
I trust Gebrselassie over Mohammed Farah.
It's possible that Mohammed brought this on himself. If he assaulted or argued with another athlete, then it's possible the unnamed athlete then decided to break into Mohammed's room for revenge. -

The English press will probably try to cover it up and protect him, with him being a lord, or whatever. -

Yep. Farah has single-handledly ruined pro distance running for me. -

Well, he hasn't denied that's his text. But there are more details here that makes me see things with more nuance. I could see how this got out of hand on each side. According to this article, the hotel safe wasn't working. Mo just kept his stuff in his room so it was prob someone with a room key. The hotel did offer to pay for his stolen stuff, but then retracted the offer when he switched to another hotel. He didn't pay the bill, so that would be the same as the hotel offering to pay for the stolen cash and watch as it's most likely an employee.
But Mo's still a jerk for bringing it up. Stuff happens. He's a lot wealthier than Haile. And it's only a Tag. He says he's sentimentally attached to the watch, but his wife prob got it with his money. It's not the gift of the magi.

Oh really, and what "little bits" would they be? -
Mo has issued a statement regarding Haile's accusations to The Telegraph.
The Telegraph wrote:
“Mo is disappointed with this statement and the continued reluctance by the hotel and its owner to take responsibility for this robbery. Mo disputes all of these claims which are an effort to distract from the situation, where members of his hotel staff used a room key and stole money and items from Mo Farah’s room (there was no safe as it was faulty, and Mo requested a new one).
Police reports confirm the incident and the hotel admitted responsibility and were in contact with Mo’s legal advisor. The hotel even offered to pay Mo the amount stolen, only to withdraw the offer when he prematurely left the hotel and moved to other accommodation, due to security concerns. Despite many attempts to discuss this issue privately with Mr Gebrselassie, he did not respond but now that he has, we would welcome him or his legal team getting in touch so that this matter can be resolved.”.
