Hello everybody as the title states I am attempting to break 5 minutes in the mile. I started the season with a 5:30 and have already gone down to 5:11 with an 800 before that. We only do around 10 miles a week cause nobody seems to care about mileage, I also probably get a little less mileage then some other guys because I did the 400 for the first time at the mile meet where I PR'd and ran 56:80 so I'm doing that too now. Would it be possible to get that mile time down within the next month? Aside from increasing mileage (which I've been attempting to do) are there any other ways to get the mile faster through training? Any help is appriciated.
