I’m a high school freshman, male, 5”11, 139 pounds.
I ran 350 miles this winter averaging 35ish a week.
These are my mile times so far in order of my first to last:
5:16 on indoor
5:01
4:52 (today, ~30 minutes ago)
Splits were: 74 73 74 71
I originally was told by letsrunners after posting my mileage and first mile time that sub 4:50 was too ambitious, well here I am exactly halfway through the season sitting at 4:52 and don’t really know where to go as I have surpassed all my expectations except my goal of sub 4:50 which I’m very close to.
What should I expect going forward into more meets and eventually my championship season?
