I say this because they have the money to workout all the time and to eat the healthiest food and get the strongest bodies overall. I think it's almost guaranteed with women. Those women who can afford to do CrossFit are going to be significantly stronger than your poorer women.
There's research out there that links combat sports with lower socioeconomic status (Gruneau is the work that I know and it's a bit dated, but there's probably more recent literature as well).
So, while what you're suggesting is likely true, those from higher socioeconomic backgrounds are less likely to take part in combat sports in the first place.

Being stronger doesn't necessarily mean you'll be a better fighter.
Rich people also live lives that are more sheltered from violence. Psychologically they are probably less fit to fight, which is probably a good thing just not if you want to be a ufc fighter.
English knights were fitter and better fighters than the common man. Armies of wealthy nations tend to have stronger and more fit soldiers than armies from poor nations. On average, young O-2 commissioned officers tend to be more fit than enlisted men. Commissioned officers tend to come from wealthier families.

True, but physically, the fighter with the most money to dedicate to training, etc, will pretty much always come out on top. Same with any athletic endeavor.
That's why rich private schools and prep schools dominate in sports when they do participate.

Nah. There's a lot of tactics involved in fighting that someone from the ghetto might know from experience, but not someone from the suburbs. Tactics that could help them overcome a strength disadvantage.
I think the problem with your theory is that rich people can just pay poor people to fight for them. that way the rich guy "wins" without having to be able to fight at all.
we saw this in the middle ages, when the king paid a lord to raise an army for him, and the lord paid some knights to do the fighting. we also saw this in the film Wall Street where the rich guy played by Michael Douglas paid the poor guy played by Charlie Sheen to do his dirty work for him. we also saw this in the American Civil War where the rich white folks paid the young poor white folks to fight to the death in defense of a social inequality that benefited the rich more than the poor. I'm sure there are thousands of other examples, and I'm also sure you could have thought of them yourself if only thinking were a thing.

The OP's premise is flawed for this reason: Success in combat sports hinges on one's ability and (sadistic)desire to physically hurt another human being and revel in their suffering. It's aggravated assault minus the legal repercussions, which is why so many criminal types -who tend to be from low socioeconomic strata- gravitate to boxing, MMA, and other combat disciplines. All the training and healthy eating in the world isn't going to change a person's mindset to where they'll enjoy repeatedly pummeling someone's already bleeding and swollen face. Also, all the gym training in the world won't matter and becomes useless once a person takes a shot in the mouth from someone who'd just as soon be stabbing them on a dark street corner. Viciousness and sociopathology cannot be learned in a gym.

This has been well observed and thoroughly studied. Wealthy sadistic people will more likely than not get good psychological/psychiatric treatment and/or have ways to express themselves as to not to appear anti-social, ie., big game hunting or judo classes. You ignored my previous post regarding commissioned officers in military I assume because it does not fit your theory. Reagan Administration opened the doors and allowed in many criminal-types not allowed during Carter Administration or George HW Bush Administration. No one would honestly say that U.S. military personnel had better fighting men during Reagan Administration.

For those of us who grew up poor or had parents that gave us zero, that rage/hunger comes up when you get into a competitive mode or really need to push. You think of a holes like you that have everything given to them and that anger makes you a better fighter, runner, whatever. You know deep down you had to earn everything and we are not about to let some privileged white kid beat us. Maybe it’s a deep down resentment some of us have that some of you spoiled white guys, older and young, act like you’re better than us because you have a car, house, etc given to you by your families. Guys like you should be punched at the end of all races. Assseipe.
