We've seen this time and time again about these fast California races. Weather is always perfect for distance races. No wind or humidity.
-
Were not all of these guys ex-high school studs?
-
Obviously these studs won't make the Olympic games in the 5k. Which ones will threaten in the thon?

Good study and successful training are difficult to combine. Both require a lot of time. It is impossible to always be the best in everything. But it is possible to buy an essays for sale. If you order an essay for sale, you free up a tremendous amount of time for other activities, including sports, without losing anything in your studies.

12 Patel, Dhruvil North Centra 13:51.40
Where does this guy now stand on the all-time Division 3 5000m list? That must be very high. -
To answer my own question, this 13:51.40 appears to be an all-time in-season D3 record for the outdoor 5000m (Patel had run 13:58 last year). Dan Henderson ran a hand-timed 13:50 out of season.
What will Patel be able to run as a pro with talented teammates?

Teare looks well on his way to becoming America’s next great distance hope
Ratcliffe is officially a STUD as opposed to a DUD -

Well then, they should not count those times. Moving through still air is too easy. It’s not real running. -

I used to write essays for people when I was at UCLA. Surprisingly half of my customers were of the West LA bunch/type (Great Neck NY, etc.) who were supposed to be all-so-brilliant but were in fact at the school due to behind the scenes actions that only the truly networked can enjoy. Think of Trump's son in law, those kinds of guys (I'm not bashing Trump btw). It's even worse with these people now in the UC system and the Ivy Leagues, yet they have used their media and academic power to convince people they are quite a brainy bunch.
Anyway, a lot of these people could speak well, but academically many were clods, some were smart in a few areas but not nearly as intelligent as they tried to portray themselves. Despite being very average overall, a large percentage now enjoy great jobs and power in the media, politics, law and more. Nothing like practicing relentless ethnic nepotism while making sure that no one else does, eh? At least it's all starting to crumble. Not quick enough to save the country, but at least it's falling apart.
The rest of the people I "helped" were a mix of athletes and people who were quite intelligent and talented when it came to certain areas of mathematics, but they simply couldn't write to save their lives. Just a talent they lacked, but not a big deal. They were generally nice guys in comparison to the snakes I noted above. And they really were smart. -

For someone bragging about their writing ability, your sentence structure is atrocious. Were these supposed students just aiming for C's? -
Ex high school studs? I think you mean college studs.
You need to stop seeing the world as high school or not high school. -
Real question is: were they in 4%?

Ex High School Studs because these two (specifically Ratcliffe) hadn't done much to live up to those HS times. Just because you are a stud in HS doesn't mean you are still great in college. You need to stop seeing the world through the legacy of high school accomplishments. -
I'm not sure what the poster was going for here. Pretty much everyone in this race was a stud in highschool. From Grant being a sub 4 runner in HS all the way down to Alek Parsons going 8:55 in HS. Seems weird to just pick these two out of the crowd of studs.

Ya, I was a little miffed by the title as well. They all were HS studs. It is great to see them doing so well while in university. So many people on this message board bash a high school star if they don’t perform on a continual upward trajectory when competing at the NCAA level. Posters ignorance, their own underachieving, jealousy may be the reasons why.
I think it is great that these young guys ran this well and hope they continue to do so. McGorty, Prakel, and soon to be Fisher, to name a few, successfully competed in and completed their university years. Wish them well in their professional careers. -

This isn’t about participation trophies. Clearly there are levels to this. Teare and Ratcliffe were the only ones who showed generational type talent in HS. They hadn’t shown that as much thus far in college.
It’s not hard to understand. Transcendent talents are who we want thriving in our NCAA system. 8:55 is an excellent time. But kids who run 8:40 and 4:00 can really raise the bar - too many of our HS studs flame out early. -

Fair point. Slagowski and Maton went sub 4 in HS and are nowhere to be found nowadays. Maton had a good year or so at Oregon and totally disappeared, while Slag never got close to where he was in HS. Such a shame.
