I'm a 38-year-old male, and I've run a total of eight half marathons. I will be running my first full marathon this October. At my last half marathon, I set a PR of 1:41:35. My previous PR was at the half marathon immediately prior, which was a PR of 1:44:07. I've gotten progressively faster for each half marathon I've run.
Any suggestions for what would be a reasonable goal pace for my first full marathon? I want to make sure that once I begin training soon for the marathon, my (slower than goal pace) long runs are right around where they need to be for an appropriate goal for race day.
