I'm 2 weeks out from a marathon (sub 2:50 attempt).
Pfitz calls for an 8-10k 'tune up race' aka tempo with 10 mi total, and 17mi Sunday.
Any reason why I can't combine this? is that better or worse to run like a 20 miler, 10 at easy (7:00), 10 @ threshold (6:00). Or is that way too hard for 2 weeks out?
I have more freedom to run long tomorrow than Sunday.
