Hi guys
I ended up taking 5 months off running and before this break while training for the 800 was running 12.8 100's and 26.x 200's and could do 100m strides in 15 mid/high to 16 seconds fairly comfortably.
I'm 5 weeks back into running and while I haven't done any sprint sessions or sprint races I'm finding it feels much harder to run 16s let alone 15s in strides than it did before. Like if I put in the same effort I did to run a 15.6 100m back then into a 100m stride out now it'd be 17 seconds.
How long will it take for my speed to return to where it once was (yes I know I'm slow either way haha)
