There are regularly threads about getting into coaching posted by (I'm guessing) college kids unsure of what to do with their degrees; some AAs, some not; some HS coaches and some GAs for sure.
But, I given what I've gone through myself and seen peers deal with - I thought it would be helpful this time of year to start a "get out of coaching" thread.
1. What skills do you promote that translate to the real world?
2. To those who have left - what did you end up doing?
3. Do you like it (enough)?
Any other comments to scare the new guys and girls from the mediocre pay and weird hours are welcomed.
