Anybody on letsrun participating? Any info on the elite field? Weather in New Orleans will be perfect on Saturday (sunny, 55 degrees, low humidity) which is very usual this time of year.

Yep, I’m flying in to race it.
Another thread confirms Stinson is racing.
Is Jake Robertson racing again?
I thought Jake Robertson was running the Hamburg marathon next weekend? Don't think he'd be doing any 10k races a week before.
He’s been back in the homeland and his IG talks nothing about Hamburg anymore.
I too wonder if he’s pulled out, unlike Jamin’s dad didn’t, sadly enough.
Bump! looking for info on elite field
Jarrett Leblanc. Rising distance runner from Louisiana. Won't win it, but should put on a good run.

Nice weather un-usual; hope the wind dies down some.
Women's performances could go deep with Ngige the class of the field, although obviously Chespol is an otherworldly talent, but I think this is really her season's beginning.

Men's race is tougher to predict. Birech and Silas Kiplagat are definitely in shape to run well under 27 on this course. Geay , Chematot, and Korir would round out a theoretical top 5.

Well under....28. Not 27.
Parker and Jerret going to hold it down
I’ve had a crush on her ever since I saw her at last year’s race.
Amazing how she was 18 last year and now is 22.
She’ll be a master’s record holder by 2021 at the rate she’s aging.
Bump
I beat Stinson and the Africans.
Then again maybe I didn’t but the results are totally F’d up.
Ridiculous.
They’ve got me finishing in the top 40 when I was about 250th. They’ve got me winning my division and I didn’t.
Why can’t results be accurate with chip timing?
Stinson’s Saucony 4%er’s took him to the finish in 29:10.
Nice! Wow, that brings back pre-1990 memories!

He is at the Naughty Knight Bar in Gretna, Louisiana, every afternoon. This is no joke, call and ask for him, he's the Raging alcoholic.
