Ok- I don't think we've had this VF question yet...got a road mile coming up, that's slightly downhill - usually wear flats (like takumi sens) for it, but considering VFs this year. The consensus seems they work better for heel strikers - and the downhillness usually leads to that. VFs also make it easier to do a long warm-up/cool-down without beating the feet up too much or bringing an extra pair of shoes.
Am I crazy to consider the VF for something so short? Better off with the lightest shoes possible for only a mile?
