I was thinking a little bit about this marathon rankings and I made my own. To know how many points someone has you have to find his/her best race (in the last 2 seasons) and add points from place and time. For example, the best race of Birhanu Legese was in Berlin this year. He was second in 2:02:48. So 14 points for place (2 place in Major) and 12 points for time (2:03- 2:02:31). That makes 26 points to the ranking.
