Worth doing if it comes back next year?
yes, worth every penny
will definitely do it again next year if they offer.
it was worth it to have a motor coach to ride in and have an indoor waiting area in Hopkinton, and no waiting for bathrooms
I got in the wrong line at the high school and had to wait over 30 minutes to poop. Luckily it wasn’t an emergency. I don’t know why they don’t make an blocked off area with a giant urinal for guys that goes to a sewer line. It would cut down the lines a lot.

Well he does drive a cab.
not sure about others' experiences but the regular tent in Hopkinton was totally fine for me. brought a sheet of plastic to sit/lie on and just chilled there for 90minutes, pretty comfortable. as long as the temperatures are decent as this year, I don't see what the added benefit of the VIP indoor area is.

There was an entire section in the Athlete's Village that contained urinals. Zero waiting.
