Hey guys I’m a freshman, ran 360 miles this winter and did a 8-9 mile long run and a tempo each week,
First meet:
5:18 mile on indoor track didn’t know how to pace
Second meet:
2:20 very windy 800
1:00 400
3rd meet:
5:01 mile
59 400
4th meet:
2:17 800 (and I wasn’t going hard coach told me to save energy for 3200)
10:50 2 mile and I was running by myself the whole race and took 3 rd, top people ran 10:20 and people were like 20 seconds behind me, so I didn’t pace as well as I could have, my coach said had I had someone to sit behind I could have run 10:40.
What do you think I can get down to on the season?
My goals are 10:35, 4:47, and 2:09
