Suck it, haters.
Suck it, haters.
Who else will she compete with, gravy?
Will she set the AR there?
She had a solid run Monday, but I highly doubt she'll win Chicago. There are better odds that she'll get injured during her build-up and not race than the odds of her winning.

She has finished 3 marathons and withdrawn from 2. So there are actually better odds of her showing up and running well than there are for her to get injured.
Aiming for 2:16/17 seems like quite a stretch, though 2:18/19 is quite possible.
Hasay will know better than anyone based on how her training is.
Just look at her cheeks and her injuries are easily explained. Doubt it she'll be in shape to go sub 2:20.
She definitely can break the AR, but I think she is being too aggressive. Based on her two serious injuries, I would wait to race at the trials and concentrate on making the team. She has never been an Olympian. Failed three times.

When you are 16 years old and do not make the 2008 olympic team, that is not considered failure.

meant did not make the team. She is not a failure. Needs to be cautious at the end of this Olympic cycle.
You don't know who else is going to race in Chicago. It's silly to predict a win for her at this point.
