Ran our area meet yesterday and have all three relays getting out (4x1, 2 and 4).
Wanting to get some ideas for training kids that cross over in all these relays.
Also the primary focus is the 4x4. What would you guys do this time of the year if you think a kid has some more ceiling, but you need to try and squeeze it out as quick as possible.

This time of year, starting two weeks ago our volume decresed, amount of rest increased, but intensity demanded on reps also went up.
Demanding more, more rest for more quality runs, less volume.
so our mile relay goes 4:30, 4:33, 4:35, and since training shifted we just ran a 4:25 last night.
