Hey all. I thought I'd ask what people have found beneficial plyometric wise. I've started to add some plyos to my weight routine (twice a week) and I'm liking it so far. I wondered if I'm doing the right thing. I stress "gym plyos" because I already do some hills and flat sprints in my program.
I've been doing:
Deadlifts followed by box jumps (either two legged or 1 legged)
Reverse Lunges followed by split jumps
Single leg deadlifts super set with single leg hops up a stair case
Step ups followed by split box jumps
So I've been trying to pair a weighted exercise with a similar plyometric movement after reading about how some people train.
Does anyone do this or something differently? Are there other or better plyometrics to add into my training? THanks
