Very curious here. I didn't run, haven't run a marathon since. I ran 2:44 last year & the same place was 2:38 this year. I know it's not a 1 for 1 comparison but I'm interested to see how people did from last year to this year.

yes, you can assume you would have run 2:38 this year and its okay for you to tell your coworkers you are a 2:38 guy.

not helpful classic lrc bully. genuinely interested in how people ran year to year. but hopefully your comment made you feel better about yourself.
3:01:30 last LA. Much better shape with more long runs with quality this year and 5-10 more miles per week. I blew up way early after a conservative start and ended up 3:40.
