I need some advice about common internship salaries in the US from you guys.
about me:
Austrian Process Engineer, 24years old,
I recently got an internship offer from Katerra (construction industry).

I'm in my last year of my studies specializing in process engineering and asked myself where to start with a possible negotiation about my wage. I'm aware that the location of the production plays a big role for the wage level, but unfortunately i can't say exactly where I'm going to work yet. Most productions and offices of Katerra are in the states of az, ca, wa, or, bc.
Would be cool to know if I can expect 40'000$-50'000$ a year or if I'm going to have to prepare myself for tough negotiations. As stated above, it is an internship and I do feel that I could ask for this but I don't want to overdo it.
As you can see, I don't have a clue about how much an intern is making in the US.
Thanks for the help!
