I actually get in bed about 9:45 and am sound a sleep by 9:50 p.m. So I am sure that I am getting 8+ hours a night.
I really appreciate everyones insight, but I just feel like my basic question is not getting answered. Regardless of how much sleep you get now, did the amount of sleep you need increase with the 40 - 50+ mile jump to 120 - 130 miles. For example, Miles and Miles, you state that you are good with 7 hours a night while doing 140 miles a week. I completely believe you, but when you were running 80 miles a week, were you able to get by with 6 hours a night? Should I expect to try to get another hour a night when I up the mileage?
I know that I have to listen to my body, problem is, most of the time when my body says "stay in bed" it is because I am lazy and not really tired.
Thanks for the input.
