Rojo, any chance you might consider a Letsrun live commentary of big races ? Basically, just the live thread but on a stream. Would love to just mute NBCs stream and hear you guys provide actual mile splits, discussion about the race, etc.

anybody have a link to the international feed? the NBC coverage is worse than bad. It's one minute of running, two minutes of wheelchairs, three minutes of commercials, repeat.
If you have the right IP, I think you can stream here:

If anyone wants to know why marathons are unwatchable, all they needed to do was watch these races for the last 45 mintes. The coverage is so disjointed. 4 races going on at once.
Not only that, but Gold isn't even bothering with any split screens. They just show each race for a couple minutes and then ignore it for 10 minutes.

exactly. I couldn't stand it so I defaulted to the threads here.

That's because his broadcast also the international feed.

What stream is Shalane on? I'm on NBCSN and I don't think I've heard her.
She's on the local coverage with Toni Reavis.

FFS enough coverage of the wheelchairs. Nobody cares at all.
You bigoted a$$. Watching some dude roll solo down a deserted street is the best television ever.
15:10 for the men at 5k. American Jeff Eggleston leading the way. They're on 2:08:00 pace. It's downhill, of course, but that's not slow.

GFY with your stupid analysis.
Shalane also just went on and on with Tony Reavis about her different style & gait and how it looks much better suited for the track. Worth noting I think.
Right, "You’re an idoot " must be blind or dumb or both or a curling fan.
This feed is awful, the wbz and the nbc regular one. I think I’ve seen 2 minutes of the men this whole time
Hasay on 2:25 pace. Doesn't seem that hot.

unless they are planning a (big) positive split, the american women are running way too hot pace, they are going to fry at 20
Please show the most popular race & not wheelchair
How long are they going to show wheelchair instead of the real race? Might as well consider it part of the commercial.

Does anybody care about the wheelchair race or is it all for the PC crowd? NBC gold has been only showing that for past 5 minutes.
They just showed Jimmie Johnson. Is he a nascar guy? They said he was hoping to break 3 hours? Could that be true. He didn't look very thin to me. I'd be STUNNED if he did that. No way could I come within an hour of that and we are nearly the same age.

I think the US is one of only 3 countries that still use imperial units. Probably trying to keep up with the rest of the world.
