Yeah it's over, Degefa will win comfortably. Edna Kiplagat waited way too long to make her move.
I wouldn't say a 35 second lead is comfortable when you are barely hanging on. If this race was 27.2 miles, I"d pick Kiplagat.

Ok Men are done with Heartbreak in 5:07. Fauble still running great.
4:46 for mile 22 for men coming downhill. Fauble is dropped. Kenneth Kipkemoi has shed the arm sleeves and these guys are going after it.

I love the way fauble is competing right now. I really hope he gets under 2:11 maybe 2:10.
Fun to watch him go big and just go for it
Damn!
Kipligat is in the background!
Might be too late.
Impressed by both runners.
Who is the idiot guy commentator? Absolutely worthless...

We rooted for Rocky. He was an underdog. We rooted for Jared and Ritz. They are underdogs. We know they won't win but we root for them anyway.
I love rooting for our runners! They are our hope

Hasay gonna keep getting 3rd place every single marathon. Super impressive.
Announcer just said that Jordan Hasay has moved into third.

Hope for what? You need better dreams.
Fauble off the lead pack, down to 7.
I'm calling it now, Worknesh Degefa wins
they are showing the women way too much
That cyclist was feeding degefa information about, i'm assuming, proximity of the 2nd place chaser. He circled back to see her, then road back ahead and was chatting with degefa......
What a hell of a run by both female runners!
Degefa is the 4th fastest woman in marathon history.
Damn she might be the one to really give Mary a challenge
Hasay!!!
its the end of the race so makes sense, but early on too way too much women. gosh dang it.
Hasay is so consistent when it comes to the marathon. So impressive.
Degefa has superb form!
