Any advice on a good women's flexible shoe that's not too firm underfoot for a midfoot striker? A little info: mostly a paved road runner, but live in an area where it gets too hot to run outside, so about to enter treadmill season. Usual distance, 5 miles, three days a week. Need a neutral shoe.
Am running in Brooks Ghost 11s and alternating with Nike Epic React now. Love the flex of the React, but the toe box it a little shallow. The Ghost is a bit rigid for my taste on the treadmill, and it's about to be treadmill season in the South. Any advice from other treadmill runners would be greatly appreciated. Low or high heel drop? Cushion or minimalist? What do you prefer on treadmill? I'm finding it's a different feel than the road.
