No such thing as bad weather, only soft people.
Spoken like a true N.E.'er
Order Sam Adams if the cheaper domestic stuff is freezing on you. Or alternatively, drink the beer before it has a chance to freeze.
I’ve run it 3 times and have never been rained on. 2011, 2013, 2017. Your theory doesn’t hold water.
Bad weather 2019/2018 and 2016........think that is a trend....CHOP.
my bad 2015
Why do people do things that I don't like?

Yeah I died a slow death that day. Came to a full stop out of dehydration and looked around and realized I was at the “right on Hereford” corner...I was so out of it....Finished feeling like crap. I hate Boston but dammit I’m going back for more in 2020. ??♀️
+1 I will never do this race

Yep, 2013. Great year to run Boston.

1) Because they qualified
2) There are few chances to run a race that’s over 120 years old,

Cause you can't qualify?

I only ran it in 2017. The sun and temp nearing 70° made it pretty awful. Absolutely ideal for spectators, though.
The reason is that it's the biggest sporting event in Boston/Massachusetts and if you run marathons yourself it's easy to get drawn in when you see a whole city get excited about a marathon.

That's the year I ran it. It was a blast!
This is hobby jogger olympics!
I think it has to do with something silly like history, tradition, etc.
No I can qualify(I'm sub elite - don't want to sound like a bragger, I'm not exactly Bekele). I have run a 75:15 half thon which was worth a 74 flat. I am crap at short races so I'd say I could be close to 2:35 shape if I trained for a fall full mary.
75:16*
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06
Rest in Peace Adrian Lehmann - 2:11 Swiss marathoner. Dies of heart attack.
I think Letesenbet Gidey might be trying to break 14 this Saturday
Running for Bowerman Track Club used to be cool now its embarrassing
