Great
Great
They are both great...but Sisson is 25, and is already within seconds of Shalene's 10k PB (in a time trial). If Emily doesn't get injured with the increased mileage, she will be the best distance runner in US history within 3-4 years.

Wait. We don’t like Saline Flanagan anymore either? Can someone please tell me who I’m still allowed to like?
Alexa Efraimson and instagram sensation wat.ki

Emily is much more likeable and also does not snub and smear America's best distance runner.
Um, since when did Shalane have beef with Molly Huddle?

How about people start celebrating the success of others, and stop trying to compare two DIFFERENT people who live two DIFFERENT lives?
Like Jesus and Muhamad for example?
Bump
Will she be a Shalane and push paces or more a Desi and pick her spots? Or maybe, just good ol' Emily...?

Nope: She was born in October, 1991, so she's 27 1/2.

Sisson's 10k PB -- 30:49.57 -- is not "within seconds" of Flanagan's PB of 30:22.22. It's almost a 1/2 a minute slower.

We really need the next Deena
Deena & Shalane both have Olys & world majors. Why don't we wait and see what Emily can do before we start declaring her The Next? Anyone remember Stephanie Herbst?
I think Sisson is close to being a peaked runner. She can't train any harder and she she going to change physically. She probably will improve some if she stays healthy.
But no I don't think she's comparable to Shalane and that's fine she likely will come very close to getting every possible, out of her talent that's there.
