I stumbled across this guy on Strava. Anyone know the deal?
His bio says he wants to run a minimum of 26.2 miles per day for the rest of his life, and he wants to exceed 20,000 miles in 2020. He seems to have truly run 26+ miles a day for the last few months — right now he’s running a marathon each morning and a half each afternoon.... but all of t is really slow. Like, 12-16 minutes/mile. I guess that makes sense with the insane mileage, but how does this make sense?
I have to assume he doesn’t work. Is he being sponsored to run all these miles? Does he have any history racing ultra that I’m not aware of?
